Philippines hosts ASEAN Meeting on Accreditation and Conformity Assessment
| ASEAN delegates convened in Manila for the 21st Meeting of the ASEAN Consultative Committee on Standards and Quality (ACCSQ) Working Group on Accreditation and Conformity Assessment (WG2), headed by Mr. Xuan Thu Vu (center), WG2 Chair and Mr. Ekanit Romyonan (2nd from R), WG2 co-chair, together with Ms. Shirley Ramesh (2nd from L), Senior Officer for Standards and Conformance of ASEAN Secretariat, to discuss the developments on the ASEAN Conformity Mark and the updates on the harmonization of ASEAN technical regulations on accreditation and conformity assessment. DTI-BPS Officer-In-Charge Cirila S. Botor (far L), together with DTI-Philippine Accreditation Office (PAO) Officer-In-Charge Jaime Lasaro L. Olmos (far R), led the Philippine delegation. The meeting was held from 04 to 06 May 2011 at the Dusit Thani Manila Hotel in Makati City, Philippines. |
