The S&C Portal

The Standards and Conformance (S&C) Portal is an online facility that offers an easy access to a wide range of information on standards, regulations and conformity assessment activities in the Philippines and other WTO member countries.

It is a virtual one-stop information center that houses the Philippine National Standards (PNS), WTO Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Notifications and other trade-related technical regulations of the Philippines as well as the country's major trading partners such as the USA, Japan, China, Singapore, Taiwan, Hongkong, Europe, etc.

More importantly, the portal enables al stakeholders to provide comments/inputs on draft standards and proposed technical regulations issued by WTO members.

Catalogue Online

The portal provides a complete listing of published PNS, classified both by ICS (International Classification for Standards) and HS (Harmonized System) to provide optimum possibilities for the selection of standards/technical regulations interrelated by their subjects.

It integrates both the catalogue of published standards, technical regulations/guidelines and the Bureau of Product Standards (BPS) technical programme on standards development.

It also features links to online catalogue of the different foreign national and international standards bodies to facilitate a faster and more efficient way of getting other trade- related information.
