Scope: Hong Kong, China will introduce a voluntary water efficiency labelling scheme on urinal equipment. Manufacturers, importers or other related parties in the sanitary wares business can apply for registration of their urinal equipment under the scheme. Urinal equipment complying with the performance requirements will be registered under the scheme and will be rated to different water efficiency grades according to their water flush volumes per cycle. Registered urinal equipment will be allowed to affix water efficiency labels of specified format to them showing their water efficiency grades and water flush volumes per cycle.
