DTI-BPS Director Jesus L. “The Bureau, through its solid partnership with the PPSQF, brings forth a trade exhibition for the general public to be aware of the safe and reliable products and services that they should be using and acquiring from to get their money’s worth, “ adds Director Motoomull.
The four-day Fair, which runs from 02 to 05 October, showcases manufactures, importers, distributors and retailers of products that conform to the safety and quality requirements of the Philippine National Standards (PNS) and bear the Philippine Standard (PS) and Import Commodity Clearance (ICC) marks. Moreover, it features companies with appropriate permits, patents and trademarks, as well as service providers that are certified, recognized and accredited by DTI and other government agencies.
Simultaneously, free awareness sessions and seminars on pressing and relevant consumer-related concerns were slated throughout the duration of the Fair to further educate and instill-quality consciousness among consumers.
“Consumers are enjoined to visit and participate in the series of free awareness seminars to be informed and updated on the latest consumer-related issues that affect their everyday lives,” stresses Director Motoomull.
