It is expected to reduce risks to human life as well as financial losses due to concrete failure. Scope: This document specifies requirements for deformed and plain billet-steel bars, in cut lengths or coils, for concrete reinforcement. Bars are of two minimum yield levels, namely, 300 MPa and 400 MPa designated as Grade 300 and Grade 400 respectively.
